Things to do in Jaisalmer, from the fort to the dunes
In the city
Evara Jaisalmer sits on Sam Road at Kanoi, a calm base for exploring. Jaisalmer Fort and the old-city lanes are a good beginning, with Patwon Ki Haveli a short walk away and Gadisar Lake offering a different view of the city. Pair with: a morning in the old city, back at Evara for hi tea.
Beyond the city
Further out, Bada Bagh, Kuldhara and Desert National Park make for longer excursions. Evara Jaisalmer doesn't operate these sites; guests arrange visits, guides and transport for themselves, and should check current access and timings locally.
Sam sand dunes
The rolling dunes west of Jaisalmer, which Incredible India places about 40 km from the city, are best seen in the softer light of late afternoon. Evara is on Sam Road at Kanoi, on the way there.
