AC or non-AC tent in Jaisalmer? How to choose for your dates
The short answer
Choose an air-conditioned tent for the warmer months or if you want temperature control; a non-AC tent suits the cooler months from October to March. At Evara Jaisalmer, both are 520 sq ft with two bedrooms and king-sized beds.
By season
Most travellers come to Jaisalmer between October and March, when desert nights turn crisp and fresh air is welcome. Air-conditioned tents suit the warmer weeks at either end of the travel season.
By the way you travel
Two bedrooms under one canvas roof give families and friends travelling together room to spread out. Light sleepers who prefer an even temperature tend to choose the air-conditioned tent; those who like the season as it is choose the non-AC tent.
What is the same in both tents
The resort has 52 premium tents: 34 air-conditioned and 18 non-air-conditioned. Every tent measures 520 sq ft and has two bedrooms with king-sized beds, a dressing room, a royal sofa set and a private dining area, with luxury toiletries and a tea and coffee maker.
