The resort has 52 premium tents: 34 air-conditioned and 18 non-air-conditioned. Every tent measures 520 sq ft and has two bedrooms with king-sized beds, a dressing room, a royal sofa set and a private dining area, with luxury toiletries and a tea and coffee maker.

Stays are on MAP, with hi tea in the afternoon and a cultural programme in the evening. The reservations team confirms rates, taxes, meal inclusions and booking terms for your dates.

When an air-conditioned tent makes sense

Jaisalmer's desert days can stay warm well into the afternoon, and the warmer months are warmer still. With air conditioning, the tent keeps its own even temperature, so the hours between the fort and the evening programme are genuinely restful. Thirty-four of Evara's 52 tents are air-conditioned.
